STEVE BAER: (That's me!!) I'm the developer of Deadweight. I work as a Naval Architect living in Seattle with my wife Danna and dog Buoy. I recently finished graduated with a bachelor's degree at the University of Washington, Bothell in Computing and Software Systems (CSS) with an emphasis in graphics programming. Check out my personal website.

Some Other people have been very influential in the development of Deadweight and I wanted to mention them here.

MIKE WHALEN: Mike is president of Fisker-Andersen & Whalen, a Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering company in Seattle, Washington. He is the guy I have been working with for the last 9 years. Everyone that knows Mike knows that he is one of the nicest and most generous people around (and a damned good Naval Architect.)

KELVIN SUNG: Kelvin is my knowledge base for graphics programming. He is a professor with the University of Washington, Bothell campus. Check out his website. Kelvin has spent plenty of extra hours outside of class helping me learn graphics topics that aren't generally taught in bachelor level programming courses.
